MASTERMINDS EXCEL
Two years in a row, the Mastermind class of Bright Learners Academy has taken the Scholastic Readiness Test, a nationally offered academic assessment test presented by Scholastic Testing Service Inc., out of Bensenville Ill., and excelled.Each of the mastermind class members achieved a Readiness Plus score in all subject areas.This indicates that all of the graduates of BLA are ready to accept the challenges offered by kindergarten and beyond.The Bright Learners Academy will continue to prepare our students for the fall semester of the upcoming school year throughout the summer.This will be done by working with academically challenging material presented in an environment designed to build self esteem and engage our students in fun filled days and activities.
A Growing Partnership! This year, Bright Learners Academy will proudly continue with the Shriners Hospital for Children to benefit the children of Pearland and the Shriners kids. Bright Learners Learn Year 'Round
One of the great things about Bright Learners Academy is our Year Round Program that allows our students to learn and grow throughout the year. We have special events all year long and this includes the months many schools are closed or offering what they call "summer camps". We have summer fun mixed with academic challenges throughout the summer months. Our teachers are committed to making sure that when our students advance to the primary grades, they are prepared and ready to learn and lead. Bright Learners had a wonderful time during our Holiday program. Our children performed and showed their stuff for parents, grandparents, and community visitors. We all had a wonderful time and unfortunately the night had to end, but not before we heard The Night before Christmas read by two of our Mastermind students. This is how we do things at BLA!
